The Golden State Warriors played most of last season down a center after starting the season with three. They need to target a cheap, veteran option in free agency to help fill out their frontcourt.

It will be a tough free agency for Warriors fans once they realize how little money the team actually has to spend. With four max-value contracts on their roster, it’s more likely a big-time trade happens than a news-breaking signing.

After playing most of February without a big man, the Golden State Warriors must target a center in the upcoming free agency period.

At the same time, Golden State should undoubtedly be looking to improve its roster. Despite finishing as a top-eight seed in the Western Conference, they failed to make the playoffs, losing both of their play-in tournament games.

With the hopeful return of Klay Thompson, the Dubs should be able to return to their championship form. They’ll need more help in the frontcourt though, currently with James Wiseman and Kevon Looney under contract.

That said, let’s dive into three players that would help bring a spark to the frontcourt and should be within the team’s budget.
