Golden State Warriors free agent frontcourt target: Dewayne Dedmon

Dewayne Dedmon would’ve been a great addition last offseason, but the story repeats itself this offseason as well. Dedmon played well in the postseason, one of the few bright spots for the Miami Heat.

While he averaged just 7.1 points per game, Dedmon shot over 70 percent from the field. It was an impressive season. At 7-foot, Dedmon also helps space the floor. His veteran savvy would be a plus as well.

Against the Bucks, in the four-game sweep, Dedmon averaged 6.3 points per game, playing just over 14 minutes per game. He was 1-for-3 from deep as well, so he can step out and pop from downtown.

Dedmon, as with McGee and Zeller, wouldn’t make the Warriors instant title contenders, but he would be a player that could be crucial in their frontcourt rotation. His size, length, and efficiency all make Dedmon a quality option this offseason.

Ultimately, all three big men would be solid options for the Warriors.
