Golden State Warriors should trade Wiseman for: Nikola Vučević

A two-time All-Star, Nikola Vucevic was traded in the middle of the season. He played with Orlando for eight complete seasons and was then dealt to the Chicago Bulls as they were on a quest to make the playoffs, a run that fell short of their mark.

The Bulls may understand that Vucevic isn’t the answer, but to the Warriors frontcourt problems, he could be just that. Vucevic averaged 23.4 points per game this past season. On top of his scoring, he brought down 11.7 rebounds per game.

The most impressive part of Vucevic’s game was that he upped his three-point shooting to 40 percent. Having a big man that’s able to space the floor as Vucevic can would give the Warriors a big advantage, especially as teams like Jazz start to take over.

Vucevic is under contract until after the 2022-2023 season. He is set to make $22 million in the last season of his contract.

Considering he’s playing at an All-Star level, that’s not too bad. Wiggins, Wiseman, and a first may be able to get the deal done, but then again, the Warriors could look to add more from Chicago if they think their big man has a strong trade market.
