Golden State Warriors should trade Wiseman for: Kevin Love

Kevin Love has one of the worst contracts in the NBA, and it at times felt like he had given up on his long-time organization, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Love played at a high level for several seasons with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving but has been injured for big chunks of the season over the last few years. Love averaged 12.2 points per game this season, the second-lowest average of his career.

That said, there should be hope that Love can still produce. With the Dubs also having a contract generally considered one of the league’s worst in Andrew Wiggins’ max deal as well, trading Wiggins and Wiseman for potentially Love and Cedi Osman could be a win-win deal.

Love would provide elite court spacing. He has hit over two triples per game for six straight seasons after not being known as a shooter to kick off his career. He’s also notched a double-double average in two of his last five seasons.

If the team thinks he can get back to the Kevin Love of old, he could be a big-time addition. While Wiseman would be a hefty price to pay, the Cavs have pieces that could even the deal if the two teams could manage to figure a trade out.
