Golden State Warriors should trade Wiseman for: Damian Lillard

After another first-round exit, the Damian Lillard trade rumors are hot. Lillard is a superstar, and many have compared him to Stephen Curry in the conversation of who the NBA’s best point guard is.

Regardless of where you want, Lillard would make any team instantly much better. For Golden State, he may not be overly needed with Curry in the rotation, but sliding Thompson to three, just imagine a backcourt of Curry and Lillard.

Lillard averaged 28.8 points per game, the second-highest average of his career. On top of several buzzer-beating shots in the playoffs, Lillard has continued to prove his dominance. Sadly, his Blazers haven’t been able to get the job done.

Golden State could, and it may be one of the only ways they truly compete with Brooklyn. The Dubs may not have the assets to bring in Lillard which is insane to even think. Wiseman, Wiggins, two lottery picks and another first-round pick is a good starting spot though.

Lillard would hands down be worth the package.
