We are well into the annual whirlwind of offseason rumors that occur each summer. For the Golden State Warriors, speculation has become the new norm, as the team has so many options to switch things up this summer, it’s hard to keep count.

One idea that has piqued my interest as of late is a potential swap featuring Kyle Kuzma. A sign-and-trade involving Kuzma and Kelly Oubre Jr. seems to be a move that satisfies both parties, making it one of the most realistic trades the Dubs could make this summer.

The Golden State Warriors have the perfect opportunity to cut their losses with Kelly Oubre Jr. and make a trade for Kyle Kuzma.

While we wait for the 2021 NBA Playoffs to conclude, the Warriors and Lakers are at home wondering how they can scratch their way back into title contention by the next season. With star names like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green headlining both teams, it’s hard to imagine they won’t be near the top of the West in 2022, barring any major injuries.

Yet, these two titans could work together in the offseason to complete this deal. Today, let’s take a look at three reasons the Dubs should target Kuz.
