Golden State Warriors trade target: Myles Turner

A second name on this list is the NBA’s leader in blocks per game, Myles Turner. Having been in the league for six seasons, Turner has made five trips to the playoffs, losing in the first round all five times.

Turner may never be an elite scoring threat for a title-contending team.

He has drastically improved his three-point shot, but he’ll likely never be a great back-to-the-basketball big man. However, what he’d bring defensively coupled with his shooting is everything the Warriors need from a non-superstar trade target.

Turner would cost a fraction of what George would as well. The 6-foot-11 25-year-old is set to make $18 million for the next two seasons, a relatively good deal for both Turner and the Indiana Pacers.

A two-time blocks champion, Turner averaged 3.4 per game this season. He also averaged 12.6 points and 1.5 threes, shooting 47.7 percent from the field. While the price for Turner is relatively unknown, Wiseman and a lottery pick should do the trick.
