Golden State Warriors trade target: Kristaps Porzingis

The last target on our list is one that’s been mentioned on our site a couple of times. Now, Kristaps Porzingis stock may be at its lowest since he came into the league after being a nonfactor for much of the team’s first-round, seven-game series against Los Angeles.

Bringing in Porzingis, given his contract, would mean at least sending away small forward Andrew Wiggins. That said, the 7-foot-3 unicorn did average over 20 points per game for a third straight season, having missed an entire year due to injury.

The skill is there, but on the brightest stage, he crumbled. In his second career playoff series, KP averaged 13.1 points per game. He shot just 47 percent from the field and under 30 percent from deep.

In what should be the co-star for rising phenom Luke Doncic, Porzingis stepped back from the plate, not up to it. For that reason, he could be on the block, and the Warriors need to do their due diligence and find out what the cost for the former All-Star forward is.

Given that he can space the floor well, KP may be a player to keep an eye on this season.
