What value do the Golden State Warriors picks have?

Whether the pick lands as high as 4th or as low as 8th, it is still a great asset since this draft is considered to be one of the best in recent years.

If you got back and look at the last two drafts since the lottery odds have been flattened to discourage tanking, you will notice that three teams jumped into the top 4 in 2019 and two teams did in 2020.

Of the five teams, four were in the 7th and 8th spots. So there is a good chance that either Toronto or Chicago will be one of the teams. That alone increases the likelihood that the Minnesota pick gets pushed out of the top 3.

Having a high lottery in a deep draft like this one along with the 14th pick opens up a lot of trade possibilities. While the Warriors are not a viable trade destination for Oakland native Damian Lillard, it can certainly be for Bradley Beal.

Below is a potential trade the Warriors can offer Washington.
