The Golden State Warriors need to improve their roster this offseason, and one way they’ll be able to do just that is to return familiar faces. Now, it’s certainly not always ideal to bring back players that didn’t fit the team culture.
However, over the past few seasons, the Warriors have helped revive the career of many players, so it’s tough to assume that the apple was sour and that the player left out of spit.
If they want to, the Golden State Warriors will have the chance to reunited Stephen Curry with a few of his former teammates this offseason.
Even if they were traded, Golden State was the team that gave them the chance to make something of a career that was stuck in neutral.
The latest examples are Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III, both players without much of a market. They joined the Warriors, were able to lead a depleted roster, and managed to find better homes elsewhere for this past season.
For Golden State to be competitive, they need to find some of the undervalued role players, and bringing back a few that already understand the culture and how to play with two-time MVP Stephen Curry could be ideal for all parties.
