Golden State Warriors: 5 former Stephen Curry teammates to sign
Stephen Curry’s former teammate Warriors should sign: Glenn Robinson III
The Golden State Warriors signing Glenn Robinson III is one of the most sensible potential reunions on this list, and it’s because of their need for both shooting and playmaking at the small forward position.
He would slot in as the main backup to Andrew Wiggins. Robinson III played very well during his stint with the Warriors. On the season which he played in the Bay Area, he topped 39 percent from deep, but with Golden State, he hit that illustrious 40 percent mark.
Robinson, along with Burks, was dealt in the middle of the season to Philadelphia. He then signed with Sacramento. He played in 23 games and averaged 5.3 points per game, so his numbers were limited with the Kings.
He attempted just 1.9 threes per game. With that being his strength and the 6-foot-6 forward averaging almost double that in Golden State, he may want to return to a team that understands his strengths.
He has recently been involved in the culture and should look to return. On a minimum-value deal, this is a win-win scenario.
