One major benefit of lucking out in the 2021 NBA Draft Lottery is the Golden State Warriors now have options. With both the No. 7 and No. 14 picks in the upcoming draft, the Dubs are spoiled to choice as to what to do with their summer.

Will they hold onto the selections for themselves? It’s most definitely a possibility. Prospects like Scottie Barnes, Davion Mitchell, Corey Kispert and others could all be available to the Dubs. There is no faster way to rebuild for the future than to strike oil on both of these picks. Collecting two more prospects to add to their core would bode well for the franchise moving forward.

It’s possible the Golden State Warriors will look to trade their NBA Draft picks. In this case, which path should they choose?

Or, the Warriors could trade the picks, an idea that has gained traction as of late. It almost seems too obvious for a team in their position to flip these assets for something more tangible in the present. Whoever they select in the draft will likely be a work in progress — whereas trading the picks would give the Warriors a contributing player right away.

For this reason, there’s a motive for trading the picks. But, how should they do it? Will the Warriors trade for a star, depth, or more picks? Let’s analyze all of the options that the franchise has in regards to trading its draft capital.
