The Golden State Warriors are reportedly looking at Pascal Siakam as a trade target, and to bring him to the Bay Area, they’ll have to put together a massive trade package, one that easily involves numerous picks, and prospects.

The Athletic’s John Hollinger (subscription required) first noted that Siakam might be on the Dubs radar. Does it make sense for the Warriors to trade for Siakam? Well, that depends on what it may cost.

With the NBA offseason starting to ramp up, the Golden State Warriors are at the forefront of the trade rumors for Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.

Adding an All-Star never comes at a cheap value, especially one that’s shown he can be the second or third-best player on a championship team. Siakam, along with Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard, helped defeat the Warriors in six games to win the 2019 NBA Finals.

Siakam has blossomed as the go-to option for Toronto after Leonard signed with Los Angeles. This past season, despite the Raptors’ struggles, the former All-Star averaged 21.4 points per game. He also notched a career-high 4.5 assists per game.

The 27-year-old Siakam is set to make over $31 million for each of the next three seasons, something to consider when planning to trade for him. That said, let’s dive into five different and unique trade proposals.
