Golden State Warriors trades for Pascal Siakam: The most likely deal

If the Golden State Warriors trade James Wiseman in a deal that involves Pascal Siakam, they’re going to go all in on winning now. That means they could look to potentially add players to the deal that help them become title contenders.

DeAndre’ Bembry would be a player that could be added to this deal that would give size and strength to Golden State.

The 6-foot-5 small forward shot a career-high 51 percent from the field last season. He’s efficient and can play gritty for the team’s second unit. Damion Lee and Jordan Poole play relatively similar styles of play, so adding Bembry could be pivotal for the Warriors.

Adding the 14th overall pick would give some Toronto at least some future compensation aside from Wiseman. However, for this to be a trade the Warriors actually considering, they must truly not view the team can contend with Wiseman as a key starter.

This feels like one of the more likely deals that don’t include a third team. Looking into those trades could add an entirely new dimension to what’s possible in a Siakam deal.
