The Golden State Warriors, despite missing the playoffs last season, should still be a premier spot for free agents in the backhalf of their careers.

With four max-value contracts on their roster, those minimum-value vets are going to be just about all the Dubs can afford. But, there should be a plethora of them on the market, making picking the right one the tricky part.

While the Golden state Warriors don’t have much money to spend this offseason, they need to make sure to not use their little cap space on these seven players.

Over the last few seasons, we’ve seen the Warriors add Kent Bazemore, DeMarcus Cousins, Alec Burks, Glenn Robinson III and many others. They’ve gotten solid contributions with the latter two playing so well they were traded prior to the deadline in the Warriors 15-wins season.

Golden State will once again be looking for cheap talent, and if they trade Andrew Wiggins, they may also be able to spend some. It’s assumed if he’s traded they’d bring in a high-cost player like Pascal Siakam or Myles Turner.

That said, within the Warriors limits, let’s dive into seven free agents they should pass on.
