Golden State Warriors should pursue T.J. Warren

We will begin our search with a potential sign-and-trade candidate involving Kelly Oubre. A flip with the Indiana Pacers could benefit both teams but, of course, Oubre needs to be in agreement as well.

I won’t waste time attempting to predict what Oubre wants to do this offseason. Only time will tell where he wants to play next year. For the sake of this slide, let’s assume Indiana is on his list of landing destinations.

In this event, the Dubs should be doing everything in their power to draw up a trade for Warren. His versatile three-level scoring would complement the Warriors’ bench and alleviate the loss of Oubre.

Warren played just four games this season and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2022. Nonetheless, he’s averaging 19.2 points across his last four seasons and can help the Warriors upgrade their second unit in a hurry.
