After losing Kevin Durant, the Golden State Warriors went into a freefall with injuries compiling and no help inbound. That 15-win, Covid-19-stricken season opened the way for them to draft center James Wiseman.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for just five games that season. With Wiseman now on the roster and two lottery picks in the late-July NBA Draft, the Warriors have all they need to make a blockbuster trade.

The Golden State Warriors have a few more years of championship contention, and to make them count, they may want to trade for one of these three players.

Finding the right piece to trade for that will actually make a difference and be drastically better than Wiseman will be the first step. On top of that, realizing that any improvement will likely also cost forward Andrew Wiggins is important.

Golden State barely missed the playoffs after losing back-to-back play-in tournament games, and with Klay Thompson returning, the value must be perfect as they likely already see themselves as a title-contending team.

With the buzz starting to intensify, let’s dive into three under-the-radar trade targets the Dubs could eye.
