The Golden State Warriors have an interesting few weeks ahead with the upcoming late-July NBA draft and then the league’s free agency period commencing.

With their plan to contend, the Dubs are expected to make at least a couple of notable moves. At the very least, they’ll be selecting at No. 7 and No. 14 if they opt to not trade the picks.

Two-time MVP Stephen Curry, when talking about the Golden State Warriors offseason plans, said that “everything’s on the table.”

On top of the picks comes the hopes of potentially completing a blockbuster trade. That’s all the drama before free agency. That couple of months which can boil down to a few crucial days is its own mess.

Nonetheless, the offseason should be thrilling for Golden State as they look to build a roster that’s better than the one they finished last season with.

The Athletic’s Anthony Slater caught up with Curry during the media availability at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament. Here’s what the star said about the Warriors’ offseason plans.

"“We do have a lot to work with, with potential picks, guys coming back, hopefully enticing some free agents to come out to the Bay and be a part of a winning organization, how we do things. I feel like everything’s on the table at this point. There’s a lot of time before the draft and before training camp and free-agency period,” Curry said via Slater."

Curry basically said what most already assumed.

The Warriors are going to have everything on the table, and they’re not going to rush into a decision. Golden State has always been smart with their offseason moves, and from the draft to free agency, I’d expect their thought-out plan to be successful.

There have been both rumors involving Kelly Oubre Jr. and Kevin Love surfacing as of late, and those should begin just the start of pre-draft news that centers around how this Warriors team will get back into contention.

With many teams potentially looking to trade up, that could open up several options for Golden State on its own. With two picks and James Wiseman, the Dubs have enough in their arsenal to propose a legitimate blockbuster deal.

The question that remains is if that’s how they want to build a contending team or if they view Klay Thompson’s return as a viable way to be in contention. At the end of the day, putting a winning product on the court should be their plan in the offseason.
