There’s no denying this is going to be an interesting next few months for the Golden State Warriors.

They were awarded the No. 7 overall pick as the final piece of the Andrew Wiggins and D’Angelo Russell trade. Having fallen outside of the top five, it conveyed to Golden State, giving the Warriors two picks in the lottery.

The Golden State Warriors should want to move up in the 2021 NBA Draft, and they should have their options ahead of the late-July draft.

On top of that, the Warriors will have James Wiseman as a possible trade asset. Wiseman has a solid rookie season, but he didn’t prove to be an elite rim protector nor a great go-to option on offense.

However, the jury is still out on whether he can hit his superstar potential. It’s still far too early to tell, and considering the Warriors could still get a solid return for him, trading him should be at least considered.

If anyone except the Big 3 is on the table, the Dubs should be able to put together a package capable of snagging even the top overall selection. That said, let’s dive into three teams they should call if they’re interested in trading up in the draft.
