Team the Golden State Warriors should call to move up: Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets need all the talent they can get.

They lost James Harden and accrued a plethora of picks. They have the No. 2 overall pick, and if they are enamored with the prospects, they could easily trade pack, considering the Warriors should offer both valuable picks and players for it.

The biggest reason Golden State should consider giving the barn for a top-three pick is because what they could then get in return for it.

The Warriors’ offseason strategy should be centered around putting a talented roster on the court, and flipping that No. 2 overall pick for a player like forward Pascal Siakam. Evan Mobley is the presumed second-overall pick with Cade Cunningham at No. 1.

If the Rockets don’t love Mobley, especially since they have Wood on their roster, there’s no reason they should stay put. Getting the No. 7, the No. 14, and then another first-round pick could help advance their rebuild.
