4 blockbuster trades the Warriors should propose for Damian Lillard

There’s no denying that the Golden State Warriors, as it stands, have an insanely talented team. However, getting back to being the favorites in the entire league may take some work.

With two first-round picks and former No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman in their arsenal, the Warriors should have the assets to bring in a top-tier player, but what about superstar guard Damian Lillard?

The Golden State Warriors have had discussions revolving around a Damian Lillard trade, but it would take a blockbuster deal to make it happen.

The Dubs have discussed trading for Lillard, The Athletic’s Anthony Slater (subscription required) reported.

Just the sound of that should have Golden State doing their best to ensure a trade happens. Lillard is coming off a postseason in which he averaged over 34 points per game. His Blazers still couldn’t win.

As for a trade, there are certain things that may have to fall into play first, like the Warriors moving up in the current draft. That said, let’s dive into four potential trades for Damian Lillard that both parties, and some that include a third party, should consider.
