Golden State Warriors proposal for Damian Lillard: The three-team trade

This is the first of the four trades we’re going to look at. The Warriors give the Raptors the start to their rebuild with James Wiseman. They also get a top-ten pick.

However, they’re trading away the fourth-overall pick. This is a trade that only happens if Toronto highly values what Wiseman could turn into. Is there potential for him to be as good as Chris Bosh was for the Raptors?

For the Blazers, they get former All-Star and 27-year-old forward Pascal Siakam. Siakam has put up a 44-point game in his last three seasons. He’s a dynamic, lengthy scorer that is coming off averaging 21.4 points per game.

Golden State is losing three first-round picks, Wiseman and Wiggins. This is the assumed minimum load that they’d have to part ways with. They may have to toss either party draft swaps and additional second-round picks.

The Raptors say no, if anyone would. It would also lean on how they value the fourth-overall pick. If Jonathan Kuminga and Jalen Green are gone, would they want Scottie Barnes or Jalen Suggs enough to pass on a trade like this for a prospect like Wiseman?
