There’s no denying the Golden State Warriors should want to improve their roster this offseason. Doesn’t every team?

However, the Warriors are going to be one of a handful of franchises that will be able to transform their roster not only into one that will contend for a playoff spot but one that will have title aspirations.

The Golden State Warriors will have limited cap space but should still be heavily involved in the free agent market. Here’s who they should target.

Many players that were on last year’s team, such as Kent Bazemore and Kelly Oubre Jr., will have the chance to test free agency. There are reasonable expectations that the team is able to re-sign both of the guards.

With a couple of roster spots open, the Warriors, as they’ve done in the past, will have the opportunity to transform their roster.

They should most notable target either a center to backup James Wiseman and Kevon Looney or a small forward to hopefully make plays for their second unit. Both options are needed gaps in the Warriors’ current depth chart.

That said, let’s dive into 11 free agents that would make sense for Golden State both in terms of improving their roster and cap space.
