Free agent Golden State Warriors should pursue: Andre Iguodala

Andre Iguodala has an NBA Finals MVP because of his role with the Warriors. Iguodala filled a position that few can do, and his veteran leadership was a key reason why they were able to win three titles in four seasons.

Iguodala was traded to the Grizzlies and then eventually made his way to the Heat. Over the last few seasons, Iguodala hasn’t really found his spot with Miami. He’s averaged under five points per game over the past two seasons.

The long-time Warriors will likely have his team option declined as it’s $15 million. He’s just not producing at that level anymore. One team that could his versatility is the Warriors, and they know his skill set well.

Iguodala is a defensive mastermind which is the one reason why he earned that Finals MVP. On top of that, he was a solid shooter while with the Warriors. Able to hit open threes, Igoudala drilled over 34 percent of his shots from deep with Golden State.

The Warriors should welcome Iguodala back if he wants his role back.
