Golden State Warriors player most likely traded: Jordan Poole

Every asset the Golden State Warriors treasure, other teams will look to trade for if they’re dishing back an All-Star caliber player. Jordan Poole may not be their most valuable asset, but after a second season that built on a shaky rookie year, he’s certainly seen his value spike.

Poole went from 8.8 points per game to 12. He was one of just a couple of players that were able to increase their numbers following the return of two-time MVP Stephen Curry. It’s been far more than just his shooting.

It’s Poole’s efficiency combined with his scoring that may make him a viable addition to a trade for a star.

Poole shot under 33 percent his rookie season with a few spells of absolutely abysmal stretches of play. The former first-round pick drilled over 43 percent of his shots in his second season and increased his three-point percentage by 7.2 percent.

The numbers are much better, and at 6-foot-4 and still just 22, Poole has high potential. If a team calls with Siakam or Turner on the table, Poole’s name should at least be mentioned in most trades.
