Golden State Warriors player most likely traded: James Wiseman

James Wiseman is the Warriors trump card to most trades, and if they land a superstar, it’s going to be because of him. While a trade for Turner may not necessarily have to include Wiseman, most blockbuster trade proposals involve the former No. 2 overall pick.

Wiseman still has Chris Bosh-like potential, but his rookie season didn’t quite show that dynamic upside like many would’ve liked to see. The former Memphis Tigers center averaged just 11.5 points per game.

However, playing just three games at Memphis, it’s tough to fault the 20-year-old for not stepping into the league and dominating. Wiseman did still manage to shoot over 50 percent from the field, and he even knocked down a couple of threes.

The potential and value are both there, making him an ideal trade target for those looking to trade a disgruntled star.

Wiseman has room to grow into a premier center. If he can take similar steps as Deandre Ayton, Wiseman should be able to blossom into one of the best young big men in the game. The Warriors may not wait long enough to find out if that potential is inside of him though.

If it means contending for a title, trading Wiseman makes sense. Trading any of these three hopefully would bring the Dubs that much closer to title contention. If no trades pop up, expect all three to stay put and be on the roster next season.
