Golden State Warriors can target Myles Turner and T.J. Warren

Keeping our theme of players who should be available for a slightly cheaper price, Myles Turner and T.J. Warren are a package deal the Golden State Warriors can look to acquire in exchange for Andrew Wiggins and their upcoming NBA Draft picks.

Wiggins has proven to be the type of versatile defender the Warriors need at the forward position. However, swapping him for an equally strong offensive threat in Warren isn’t much of a drop-off. Especially when considering Warren is more of a steal at his $12 million dollar price tag.

As for Turner, a prolific shot-blocker and rim runner is something the Dubs could use in their rotation. While it’s expected James Wiseman will eventually fulfill this role — it helps to have depth and a more readily available competitor in Turner. After all, Wiseman is still just getting his feet wet at the NBA level.

Turner averaged 12.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and a league-high 3.4 blocks per game last season. He hovered above 30 percent as a 3-point shooter and can provide more spacing for a Dubs team who lacks shooting in the frontcourt.
