Golden State Warriors can target Brandon Ingram

Entering the heavy hitters, Brandon Ingram is a borderline All-Star who can benefit the Golden State Warriors for years to come. He comes with a hefty price tag that might be matchable if the New Orleans Pelicans are interested in a more defensive-oriented Andrew Wiggins and a slew of NBA Draft picks.

Ingram will instantly garner comparisons to Kevin Durant for his similar frame, playing style and of course, role with the Warriors. Nevertheless, he’d be an obvious downgrade from KD — though he can still have a massive impact as a tertiary scorer next to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

The Warriors would find it easier to relieve the Splash Bros of their offensive duties with a guy like Ingram on the wing instead of Wiggins. Ingram has averaged 23.8 points in each of the last two seasons and netted a career-high 4.9 assists in his most recent run.

Again, the Dubs would have to pay the price to acquire Ingram. Even so, he brings a ton of value at only 23 years of age and can be a longterm piece to this franchise.
