Golden State Warriors that’ll benefit from draft: Juan Toscano-Anderson

Lastly, we have Juan Toscano-Anderson, and to be honest, he’s on here because Kuminga isn’t going to ready to step into a volume role anytime soon. He shot under 40 percent from the field in the G-League and was under 30 percent from deep.

His numbers just aren’t there, and he’ll need a few years to develop.

When he gets the NBA-type size and frame, he may make his living at the four, and right now, Toscano-Anderson is getting the minutes either behind Draymond Green or as the stretch five in small-ball lineups.

Toscano-Anderon played very well for Golden State last season. He averaged 5.7 points per game and shot 58 percent from the field. His hustle and energy were contagious on both ends of the court. JTA has become a fan favorite in his mere two seasons.

That said, the Warriors drafting Franz Wagner could’ve cut into JTA’s minutes; however, they went with Kuminga, who has a higher ceiling than Wagner.
