Golden State Warriors can target Otto Porter Jr.

Otto Porter Jr. has long been on the Golden State Warriors’ radar. The two-way vet is entering unrestricted free agency and can offer his skillset to numerous contenders.

Porter is an interesting prospect for the fact that he has never really found a home despite being a quality presence on both ends of the floor. He’s blossomed into a consistent shooter who can defend multiple positions relatively well.

Last season, Porter averaged just under 10 points per game on 37.5 percent shooting from the 3-point line. It’s unlikely that he gave it his all, however, as he seemingly mailed it in while playing on lottery teams such as the Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic.

The Warriors would provide all of the motivation needed for Porter to step up into a versatile 3-and-D contributor. Assuming he’s open to taking on a cheaper contract for the sake of battling for a title, Porter is a player the Dubs must be targetting.
