Why the Golden State Warriors should sign Iguodala: He’s played with the Big 3

This factor cannot be stressed enough. Playing alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green isn’t always easy to adjust to.

For starters, the Warriors style of play often yields those two running off many screens and typically relies on their teammates finding ways to get open. Iguodala, like Green, understands that.

He’d be willing to be the passer that finds those two running off a perfectly set Green or Wiseman screens. While Iguodala neared 20 points per game earlier in the season, his most successful season may have been when he was backed by the Big 3.

Iguodala was the 2015 NBA Finals MVP. He was able to play such an impactful role because of how dominant Curry and Thompson were offensively.

Iguodala played with Golden State for six seasons and started under 25 games over his last five years. However, he’ll always be considered one of the most impactful players on those title-winning rosters.
