The floodgates have opened and NBA madness is ensuing as free agency hits full swing. The Golden State Warriors have been active thus far, making two key additions to their roster.

NBA Free Agency is underway and the Golden State Warriors have wasted no time getting active and making key additions.

Golden State entered free agency with some glaring needs. They’ve crowded their roster with young talent over the last two offseasons, adding three lottery picks in just two years. James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody are all promising prospects — but complicate the path to another title.

It’s rare for a team full of rookies and sophomores to compete for a championship. Few franchises have successfully navigated interchanging timelines like this with the San Antonio Spurs standing as the lone blueprint for longevity due to the way they shifted from David Robinson to Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and eventually, Kawhi Leonard.

The Dubs understand that in order to ease the transition from old to new — they need a little more vets in the picture. This was a priority entering the offseason and the front office has knocked it out of the park in free agency so far.
