Golden State Warriors should pursue Andre Iguodala

I don’t need to tell you that Andre Iguodala is not the same player he was in 2015 when he won the Finals MVP for the Golden State Warriors. And yet, he can still be a crucial addition to a team that is hoping to return to the promised land next season.

At this point, Iggy has collected all of the savvy tricks that allow him to be a menace defensively even with his loss of athleticism. He’s a high-IQ player who understands exactly how to impact the game at the smallest levels.

Iguodala understands how to win with the Dubs more than anybody. Whether it be setting screens, making the extra pass or cutting at just the right time — Iggy has the details of Steve Kerr’s system mastered.

Above all else, would anyone really be mad at seeing Iguodala in a Warriors uniform again? He’s an all-time fan favorite and this reunion just feels right.
