Golden State Warriors should NOT pursue Frank Kaminsky

On paper, Frank Kaminsky makes sense for all the same reasons signing Nemanja Bjelica and Paul Milsap. However, for as great of a shooter and floor spacer that Kaminsky is, the rest of his game would be too detrimental to the Golden State Warriors.

Kaminsky was a member of an inspiring Phoenix Suns team that shocked everyone and vaulted to an NBA Finals berth last season. Yet, he was very much one of the reasons they fell short of the ultimate goal with the Suns getting brutalized most of the time when he was on the floor.

Laboring big men with concrete feet aren’t great to have on the court during key moments. Kaminsky is a limited athlete and underwhelming rebounder. He is vulnerable defensively and only adds value on offense due to his 3-point stroke.

Overall, the Warriors should be looking elsewhere if they want additional help in the frontcourt. There are simply better options out there.
