So far in free agency, the Golden State Warriors have done very well.
They acquired two veterans that almost certainly could’ve made more elsewhere. On veteran’s minimums, the Warriors signed Otto Porter Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica, two players that can shoot at a high rate from three-point territory.
The Golden State Warriors still have a few roster spots left, and with limited cap space, they should target these five still-available free agents.
With the mid-level exception still in their back pocket, the Warriors should have something further up their sleeve. With two or three roster spots still remaining and a plethora of young talents, the next couple of additions will likely be veterans.
The Warriors could use a backup point guard and then potentially another big man, both not necessarily critical to their success this coming season. They should be able to target just the most impactful veteran they can sign.
That said, let’s dive into five players still on the market worth pursuing.
