Golden State Warriors player clinging to rotational spot: Juan Toscano-Anderson

One Warrior that had a breakout season last year was Juan Toscacno-Anderson. A fan-favorite player, JTA was given many starts while the Warriors were trying to figure out how to play without a traditional center in February.

His impact continued well into the later parts of the season. However, given the recent additions, he may be struggling to minutes this coming season. Both Otto Porter Jr. and Andre Iguodala can be that small-ball four, JTA’s main position last season.

Playing a critical role at times, especially given his hustles plays also counting in his value, Toscano-Anderson averaged 5.7 points per game, but as with Mulder, his major benefit came with his three-point shooting and energy.

JTA hit over 40 percent of his three-point attempts. JTA neared 58 percent from the field (over 70 percent from two-point range) which is incredibly impressive for a player that stands just 6-foot-6.

JTA should have a role to start the season, but with the recently-added forwards, he’ll be on a short leash.
