The Golden State Warriors franchise may not be completely committed to a Ben Simmons trade, but the potential for one is certainly still alive.
Simmons giving where he’d be competent reduces the Sixers market. No team is going to add a player that doesn’t want to be there. That’s why the Warriors are the perfect destination, but they’re not completely sold on the fit with Simmons and Draymond Green.
