Golden State Warriors potential proposal: The three-team trade

If the Philadelphia 76ers want to become better contenders, then they’re not going to necessarily want the Warriors Noo. 7 overall pick, Jonathan Kuminga.

If they can manage to lure him away from Golden State, they could utilize him with a third team, in this case, the Sacramento Kings. The Kings then trade their top-ten pick, Davion Mitchell, to Golden State.

There are quite of moving pieces in this deal, but all parties should come out happy. On top of dealing their three players, the Warriors don’t trade many picks which is a nice plus. They can add an All-Star caliber player for several young pieces.

This feels like a win-win trade for all parties, except maybe the Warriors, who trade two former top-ten picks for a fit they aren’t sure of. If they get sold on Simmons, then this could be an avenue they look towards.

For the Kings, Hield doesn’t seem like a long-term option. Having De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Kuminga is a solid trio to lead the future of your franchise. There isn’t necessarily a side that loses in this deal, just a shuffling of assets.
