Fall is here and in what feels like the first day of school all over again, the Golden State Warriors are preparing to introduce a new batch of NBA rookies into the league. Each player comes with unique potential and a specific goal they should look to achieve.

The Golden State Warriors’ incoming rookie class (and James Wiseman) will have some lofty goals to aspire for in the 2021-22 NBA season.

Early on, it will be all about gaining experience. James Wiseman learned this quickly last season as he was on a tight leash due to the Warriors’ hope of reaching the playoffs. Nothing has changed in this regard. If anything, the rookies will face even higher restrictions as the Dubs have an actual shot at competing for a title if everything breaks in their favor.

Naturally, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody will have to earn everything in their rookie seasons. They’ll have plenty of chances to prove themselves but how successful they are will ultimately come down to how well they can capitalize on their strengths.

The same goes for Wiseman, who will be included in our list despite being a sophomore. The 20-year-old has had a strange start to his career due to a brief time in college and a pandemic-ridden (and injury-ridden) rookie year.

Wiseman, Moody and Kuminga have the potential to be instant contributors for the Warriors. This set of goals will be the blueprint to maximizing their promise next season.
