Golden State Warriors most likely traded: Moses Moody

The Golden State Warriors’ two first-round picks were excellent in the summer league, certainly giving them a boost in value. Now, it’s still unlikely the Warriors trade either of them, but Moody played well enough to make other teams aware of his skill.

In four games, he averaged over 16 points per game. Moody also averaged 2.5 threes per game and shot 37 percent from deep. His ability to score at a higher level than at Arkansas was impressive to say the league.

It seems the Warriors got a steal at No. 14, and if they’re looking to make a trade, including Moody could move the needle. Given his size and 7-foot-1 wingspan, Moody could have Kawhi-Leonard comparisons tagged to his name.

On both ends of the court, Moody has shown enough to potentially be a valuable inclusion in a Ben Simmons trade. Again, the stock for Simmons has plummeted since the news of the declining relationship between him and the Sixers front office.

That could provide a perfect opportunity for the Warriors to get him for cheap, a deal that could then include Moody. The 19-year-old has a bright NBA future.
