It feels like decades since the Golden State Warriors truly entered an NBA season with championship aspirations. As optimistic as we may have been last year — this is the first time in a long time that the Dubs actually have a chance at battling for a title.

The cards are all on the table at this point. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are bracing for the homestretch of their primes as the Dubs look to help them capitalize on the final years of their championship window.

This roster has improved quite a bit over the summer. Even with the loss of Kelly Oubre, the additions of Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Andre Iguodala, Otto Porter Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica are enough to get fans excited again.

The Golden State Warriors will be banking on a few x-factors next season that will make or break their championship hopes.

Still, returning to NBA greatness won’t be so simple. The Warriors have a few potential roadblocks they need to overcome as well as some crucial x-factors. These make-or-break scenarios will determine how successful Golden State can be next season.
