Golden State Warriors should let their youth run free

Lineup: Jordan Poole, Moses Moody, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Jonathan Kuminga, James Wiseman

Again, another lineup here that probably won’t get much playing time but is a fun and necessary experiment the Golden State Warriors should conduct next season. Particularly early on as each member of the young core jockeys for playing position.

Assuming the Warriors are able to build some good fortune to start the year and gain a few comfortable leads — this lineup full of youth should see the floor. Allowing Jordan Poole and Juan Toscano-Anderson to work on their leadership skills alongside two rookies and James Wiseman is a great way to gauge how far they’ve come as players.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody will have a bit more leeway to operate how they see fit. There will be a tight leash on these two during the course of the season but moments like this will allow them to test the waters a bit.

This unit has an interesting mix of 3-point shooting and versatility on defense. The backcourt pairing of Poole and Moody will be fun offensively while JTA, Kuminga and Wiseman could be a nightmare for opposing threats.
