Isaiah Hartenstein would be a fan favorite for Golden State Warriors

There are few big men left on the market with the unique talents of Isaiah Hartenstein. Never able to find a consistent home, Hartenstein would be an instant contributor for a team like the Golden State Warriors.

Spending the early portion of his career in Denver before briefly competing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Hartenstein has done some impressive (yet under the radar) things on a basketball court. He has good vision and is capable of making nifty bounce passes out of the post.

Hartenstein had a 13 game stretch last season in which he posted 9.1 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists on 63.5 percent shooting. This was one of the only times in his career where he was offered notable minutes and he thrived.

The Warriors’ free-flowing offense would finally put Hartenstein in a position to shine as a playmaking big. Using his talents as a way of creating an inside-out dynamic between him and shooters like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would be fun — but I could also see Hartenstein finding success on entry passes to cutters such as Andrew Wiggins.

He is only 22-years-old and flashed enough potential to earn a spot on the roster for a minimum contract.
