Ben Simmons to the Warriors trade suggestion: Andrew Wiggins and picks

This is the bare minimum, and it’s a trade there is almost zero chance Philadelphia would accept. However, the Warriors aren’t wanting to trade James Wiseman or Jonathan Kuminga, and if they stick by that, this may be the best Philadelphia gets.

Now, they certainly could turn elsewhere and go trade for CJ McCollum, but there should be concern over his fit alongside Embiid and Tobias Harris.

It’s a long shot that this gets done, but after Wiggins’ most recent season, it’s not the most insane trade suggestion. Wiggins, a former No. 1 overall pick, averaged 18.6 points per game and shot a career-high percentage from both the field and from downtown.

He’s no superstar though, and he thrived in the Warriors system with no guarantee that he could keep those numbers up elsewhere. Two first-round picks could help move the needle, but given how good Golden State will be for the next half a decade, they may not do much.

The Warriors will need to propose something better than this, but if they can get away with it, this would be an absolute steal for Dub Nation.
