Ben Simmons to the Warriors trade suggestion: Andrew Wiggins and Wiseman

This is a more realistic trade, but it’s only one that would make sense if the Sixers have a way to offload Wiseman. With Embiid averaging over 30 minutes per game, there’s no real need for Wiseman, especially since he’s more a traditional big man.

If they can flip Wiseman to a third team for a scoring guard then they should be interested in this trade. Ultimately it should boil down to if a third can get involved as the Sixers shouldn’t have any real desire to keep Wiseman for the long-term future.

As for Golden State, trading Wiseman after a season in which he didn’t absolutely dominant also makes sense.

Wiseman has upside, and he could be like Chris Bosh at some point in his career. That’s far from a guarantee though as he didn’t show a soft touch often and wasn’t as good of a rim protector as many had hoped for.

The former No. 2 overall pick has superstar upside, and staying in Golden State is ideal for his development. But, his value and the Warriors’ timeline to win a title may outweigh their desire to keep him in town.
