Golden State Warriors strength: Stephen Curry

Offensively, Stephen Curry is the best player on the planet.

Agree or disagree if you want, but Curry was the league’s scoring leader last season and that certainly means something. He put up over 30 points per for just the second time in his career and ended with a career-high 32 per game.

It’s not just Curry’s productivity that is something to marvel at, but it’s his impact. Curry shot over 48 percent from the field and yet again topped 40 percent from deep, shooting more than ten triples per game. Curry also averaged a career-high 5.5 rebounds per game.

He was able to do just about everything on the court, and it oftentimes was the difference for Golden State. His basketball IQ being otherworldly is also extremely important for how the Warriors function.

Curry, by himself, is a strength for the team. They’ll need him to again be at his best, and given how consistent he’s been throughout his career, that’s a safe bet to place.
