Jordan Poole is an honorary Splash Brother for Golden State Warriors
Placing third on this list is a player who has worked his tail off over the last two seasons. Jordan Poole has seen his NBA career take numerous twists and turns, going from a deep rotational player to a G-League stand-in multiple times.
However, it was his sophomore stint that finally pushed Poole into the pros for good. He made enormous leaps as a scorer, showcasing the streaky shooting that made him a first-round NBA Draft pick to begin with. Poole also took steps forward as a ball-handler as his overall confidence increased.
Poole was a distant third on the Warriors last year in terms of total 3-pointers made. He netted just 97 to Andrew Wiggins’ 140. Yet, Poole attempted an average of 10.1 3-pointers per 36 minutes — nearly double Wiggins and below only Stephen Curry.
I believe Poole will take on more ball-handling responsibilities as the Warriors ease Klay Thompson back into the fray. However, with consistent development, Poole will be a key member of the offense due to his pure shooting ability.
