Klay Thompson’s form and how he fares for the rest of the season

Will Klay Thompson have shaken off his rust by the first game? Will the Warriors start him with reduced minutes? Or will it be him hitting peak form as early as the opening game?

The season opener against a formidable Lakers side will surely put Thompson in a hard place, but if the All-Star plays like one, rest assured the team will receive a massive boost of confidence heading into the rest of the tournament.

However, there is also that probability of an injury flare-up, meaning it will be back to the drawing board and chalking up a plan B.

Before tearing his ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals, the 31-year-old, was one of the best two-way players on the Warriors’ roster and in the league, so to speak. He built a reputation of showcasing excellent defense and then sprinting back to the other end and splashing a three effortlessly. So, if not for the shooting, where will he be on the defense?

The result will say it all.
