Jordan Poole is going to surprise a lot of people

Those who watched Jordan Poole’s first two seasons with the Golden State Warriors understand the impressive trajectory his career is on. However, the majority of NBA fans have no idea what is in store for the rising star.

I can’t say I blame other fans for not recognizing Poole’s talent. He had a rough debut to the NBA and spent a chunk of his sophomore season in the G-League. But, by the end of last season, Poole was a consistent contributor for the Dubs.

Poole grew as a ball-handler and scorer. His newfound confidence allowed him to shake defenders and put pressure on opponents at all times with his 3-point shooting. Poole has shown clever footwork and a never-ending motor when it comes to moving off-ball.

These qualities have set Poole up for a big third season. He will play a pivotal role at the beginning of the year while Klay Thompson finishes up his recovery. Poole is going to put the rest of the league on notice — there are not many 22-year-olds more talented than him right now.
