Moses Moody has a freakish wingspan

There are many reasons to be excited about Moses Moody. The 14th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft is ready to be an instant contributor to the Golden State Warriors due to his 3-point shooting capabilities but the most fascinating thing about him has to be his freakish wingspan.

Moody has good size at 6’5″. He fits right in on the wing next to Stephen Curry and can play either position in the backcourt. However, his insane 7’1″ wingspan will give him the ability to move up and defend taller players, as well.

The average wingspan for 2021 NBA Draft prospects was 6’8″ for Moody’s position. With Moody’s current length, he fits better into the wingspan of incoming centers who sport a 7’3″ average reach.

This physical gift is going to make Moody an elite defender one day. He can cover an absurd amount of ground and close out to shooters on the perimeter with ease. Moody will surprise plenty of players in his rookie season with his ability to contest 3-pointers.
